25th ICNS Conference comes to Europe!
The 25th ICNS Conference will take place from 8 to 10 April 2025 at EUROCONTROL’s headquarters in Brussels (Belgium). The event will be jointly hosted by EUROCONTROL, the SESAR Deployment Manager (SDM) and the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking (SJU) and will be in person.
First kicked off in 2001 in Cleveland (Ohio) as a NASA’s Glenn Research Centre event that included the FAA and industry, and focused on domestic US CNS activities, the ICNS Conference has become the leading international aviation event for CNS matters, addressing technology and policy advances in CNS research, development and implementation programmes as well as policies related to CNS/ATM capabilities and applications.
To mark the growing international dimension of the conference, the 2025 edition of the Conference will be hosted for the first time outside the US. Hosting the conference in Europe will facilitate the participation and active involvement of new participants and bring the conference closer to other major aviation centres.
SESAR Deployment Manager will ensure:
- The opening on Day 2 by our Executive Director Mariagrazia La Piscopia
- Plenaries coordinated by Cristian Pradera Díez, our ATM modernisation Planning Coordinator and Sherry Yang
- Panelist Per Andersen, our SWIM and Cybersecurity Expert who will talk about Cybersecurity
- Panelist Luna Babusci, our Airspace Management Team Leader and Air Traffic Controller &
- Panelist Carlos Sequeira, Pilot, Human Factor Expert and our AF1 Expert , who will share insights on the human role in CNS
