Workshop on FF_ICE/R1
Please mark your calendar and join us for a ground (ANSP) interactive workshop on FF_ICE/R1 on 6 February 2025 in Brussels.
Common Project 1 (CP1) regulation mandates ANSPs to consume FF_ICE/R1, integrate and use FF-ICE/R1 information in their ground ATC systems. This implementation leverages the enhanced and new data provided by the FF-ICE Flight Plan (eFPL) to optimize operations and improve the ground systems dealing with today limitations of the FPL2012 format.
Workshop Objectives:
Join us for a comprehensive workshop aimed at fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among ANSPs.
The workshop will delve into Key topics such as:
Lessons Learned
: Insights from ANSPs on ground implementation of FF-ICE/R1, including their testing experiences with the Network Manager (NM), FDPs specification efforts, and practical implementation strategies.
Use Cases and Implementation Plans
: ANSPs will present their FF-ICE use cases, along with challenges faced during implementation and its planning.
Roadmap Presentation
: Unveiling the initial FF-ICE/R1 ground implementation roadmap 2025.
Overview of
NM testing requirements
- extensive testing with NM is required and needs to be planned as soon as possible
This workshop will also feature presentations and demonstrations from ANSPs, providing a hands-on view of progress in FF-ICE/R1 deployment.
The workshop will be held in person at SESAR Deployment Manager HQ, Brussels. All practical details will be provided in your confirmation email a few days before the workshop.
