Advancing European ATM through the 2023 CEF2 Transport Call Launch Event
In September, our implementing partners gear up for a momentous event that promises to further support the reshaping of European Air Traffic Management (ATM). The "2023 CEF2 Transport Call Launch Event" marks another key milestone in the journey of ATM modernization of our skies.
This event, scheduled for September 28, is not just an occasion—it's a declaration of the joint commitment of SESAR deployment partners to enhancing safety, efficiency, and sustainability in European airspace. The launch event aims to support plans and initiatives that underline the significance of new ATM modernisation projects, supporting Collaborative Decision Making, Performance-Based Navigation, and Seamless Operations and others. These elements converge to form the core of our mission: to deliver SESAR deployment as one team.
SDM will provide its stakeholders with detailed information on the process, timeline and all mandatory documentations to be submitted, as well as on how we will support all partners during the elaboration and timely submission of their implementation project(s) proposal(s) for the 2023 CEF2 Transport Call.
Through this initiative, we remind the main six benefits of CP1 (Common Project 1) to the aviation industry. Enhanced Safety, Increased Capacity, Reduced Delays, Environmental Benefits, Cost Efficiency, and Harmonization are the pillars on which our joint journey stands.
