SESAR Deployment Manager visits HungaroControl

HungaroControl - Hungarian Air Navigation Services CEO Laszlo Toth welcomed our Executive Director Mariagrazia La Piscopia to exchange on SESAR deployment & how to improve modernizing #EU #ATM #AsOne team. This visit is the first in a row of our #outreach tour, aiming at listening to local needs, sharing insights & strengthening cooperation.

"It was a well-appreciated initiative and successful meeting and we had good discussions on how to bring ATM modernization and digitalization through SESAR deployment even forward", stated Mr Toth.

A lot has been done in HungaroControl - Hungarian Air Navigation Services on SESAR innovation!

Digitalization and fully integrated ATM systems are now allowing to go beyond fragmentation and move towards delegation of airspace and/or traffic control (Kosovo transit flights), whilst targeted tools are supporting a more efficient airspace utilization and expansion of Free Route cross-border (5 States involved) with a big impact on sustainability. 

And let’s not forget the Remote Tower in Budapest soon becoming an operational reality improving service quality, business resilience and safety.
 
SESAR deployment is happening and delivering results & benefits contributing to the success of the Single European Sky.
