SESAR Deployment Programme 2022 approved by European Commission
The SESAR Deployment Programme (SDP) 2022 was approved by the European Commission on 12th August 2022 and can be downloaded via this link
Modernisation and digitalisation of European Air Traffic Management (ATM) through SESAR implementation is driven by the SESAR Deployment Programme (SDP) under the coordination of the SESAR Deployment Manager.
The first edition of the SDP was delivered in 2015 with yearly updates and was based on the European Pilot Common Project Regulation (PCP). The new Common Project One (CP1) Regulation triggered the update of the SESAR Deployment Programme which was fully consulted and agreed with the operational stakeholders.
The SESAR Deployment Programme is a common workplan to guide all operational stakeholders involved in SESAR Air Traffic Management modernisation, defining the scope of the modernisation activities, the synchronisation needs as well as the suggested approach for deploying all the CP1 functionalities.
SESAR Deployment Programme also represents the technical most up-to-date reference and specification for the submission of ATM modernisation projects under future funding calls within SESAR and in the same time guiding operational stakeholders willing to deploy without European funding.
