Visit to DFS and LVNL modernization projects shows SESAR Deployment in Germany and The Netherlands
This week, a delegation from DG MOVE European Commission & CINEA - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency virtually visited our Implementing Partners DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH and LVNL for an exchange on completed and ongoing #SESAR deployment projects.
🔎 Focus topics were the implementation of the new iTEC-based Centre Automation System (iCAS) which means realising a completely new air traffic control center with new IT infrastructure, new operational rooms and state-of-the-art controller working positions.
Both Air Navigation Service Providers lively demonstrated the effort and the latest development of the projects being realised in their Air Traffic Control Centers.
🤝 These visits are a unique opportunity to not only showcase the
good investment of public #EU funding but also the #commitment of #SESAR deployment stakeholders to #modernise #ATM in #Europe #together.
